Motherwell and Wishaw Swim Team

Training Fees

The fees are calculated over a full year and make allowance for holidays and cancellations of the pool let throughout the year and therefore remain the same every month. Our method of payment is standing order; the form is supplied at the welcome meeting on joining the club.

As of May, 2019, North Lanarkshire Leisure implemented a new payment procedure for Motherwell & Wishaw A.S.C. Every Swimmer must now become a member of NL Leisure (Swim), The  Club is also invoiced on a 4 weekly basis for all swimmers using the pool. For parents/guardians this means that rather than paying pool entry at the Wishaw Sports Centre reception desk, it is paid to Motherwell & Wishaw A.S.C. through your Standing Order. The fee is based on the minimum number of pool training sessions each swimmer is expected to attend for each squad.

With the adoption of this policy for, the situation will be monitored to ensure this does not place undue financial pressure on the Club. If the Club shows signs of any loss we reserve the right to call an extraordinary general meeting to address the problem. Any surplus will be placed in club funds and used for training courses, training equipment etc for the benefit of all swimmers.

To enable a child to swim at galas, they must be registered with SASA / West District and have a SASA membership number. They also must have insurance. The membership fees pay for this registration and insurance.
